NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON “BIOTECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY 2026–2030, VISION TO 2045”

From a business perspective, CT Group identifies biotechnology as one of its five strategic pillars for the new development phase, particularly in the areas of biomedicine, precision agriculture, green energy, and bio-based materials. To create a breakthrough, however, a “Triple-Helix Collaboration” model (Government – University – Enterprise) is essential. This model is viewed as the key driver that will enable Vietnam’s biotechnology sector to leap forward in the coming years.

At the conference, CT Group Chairman Mr. Tran Kim Chung delivered an important keynote address, sharing the Group’s long-term vision and reaffirming its commitment to working closely with central agencies and VNU-HCM in advancing Vietnam’s biotechnology ecosystem, highlighted 5 strategic priorities CT Group will focus on advancing: strengthening R&D collaboration and technology transfer; forming biotechnology spin-off enterprises; developing high-quality human resources; contributing to the formulation of national strategies; and advancing the National Digital Twin NDT 15, the Low-Altitude Economy, and Quantum Computing as technological catalysts to accelerate the growth of Vietnam’s biotechnology sector.

2 in-depth presentations from CT Group representatives also drew significant attention: Prof. Dr. Henry Nguyen, Member of CT Group’s Scientific Council, spoke on “Global Trends and Vision in Biotechnology,” while Dr. Ngo Si Kha presented “Biotechnology Development and Orientation of CT Group.”
